I made this for my sister-in-laws baby shower. I love how it turned out! Isn't minky the best? I have some leftover, and I loved it with that flower fabric from Hobby Lobby so much, I might have to get more and make B a little snuggly blanket to carry around. I used THIS tutorial, but made straps with velcro on them instead of bows. I also added brown bias tape to give it a more finished look. I think the tutorial suggests rounding your edges, which I did so it wouldn't drag on the ground. Fun project to make! It's always nice when someone asks you to do it for them, since I had always planned on one for Bailey but never got around to it (we used this same carseat!).

I was wondering if you could give me the inch marks on where you put your velcro straps. I also have a Z shaped handle and found that it was difficult to find the right placement for the straps.
I'm sorry, I no longer have that car seat nor do I have the canopy. My sister-in-law has it packed away. If she has another kid, I'll be sure to ask her to see it and find out where they were placed.
