My Last Minute Gifts

I knew I’d do it.  I thought I was done with gifts but the week before Christmas I just kept thinking how much I love seeing my kids get excited about something I’ve made them.

So for my two boys, I just added a wrestling graphic with freezer paper to some sweat pants for when they go to wrestling practice (and also so they stop wearing their too-short PJ bottoms to practice!).  You can find a lot of different images by doing a quick google search.DSCF4050DSCF4051DSCF4052DSCF4053

For B I made this cute doll bassinet.  The tutorial I followed was from Nothing Fancy.  You can find it here.  I also made a super fast blanket for the baby doll.DSCF4046DSCF4039DSCF4040DSCF4041DSCF4043DSCF4044DSCF4045DSCF4047

After my kids’ presents were finished, I really felt complete as far as gift giving:).  I hope they like them!  When I get back from the break I’ll let you know…

I didn’t want to post this next picture before Christmas just by the slight chance that anyone receiving one of them reads my blog (which some do, some don’t).  I made 20 hand sanitizer holders. It took a while, but they were finished the week before Christmas so I could relax a bit.  This picture is missing a few that I already gave away before taking the picture.  DSCF3989

I love seeing people open gifts that you worked hard on!  It’s a lot more fulfilling than the cheap present I could afford otherwise!

I’ll be back next week!  Until then, I hope you are all enjoying the rest of your holiday!

Thanks for the tutorial on these cute hand sanitizer holders! I made them for teacher gifts, I hope they liked them as much as I did! As a variation I made fabric covered elastic to hold the bottles in place, sort of a tiny hair scrunchie. They all turned out so cute! Thanks!

These are such beautiful and thoughtful presents. I love the cute little graphic design sweats for the boys. It's such a great way to make it more fun!

I saw the bassinet and was going to ask! So cute. I may steal the wrestling idea when D allows K to join back in on the fun.

Have I said about a million times how talented you are? I need one of those doll bassinets for Kaitlyn when she gets older. Sooo cute.
