Purse Week Guest: Tea Rose Home

I’m thrilled to have Sachiko from Tea Rose Home guest post today!  She is one of the kindest bloggers I have come across and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her better through blogging and the occasional emailing back and forth.  I just love Sachiko!

I believe she is best known for her fabulous refashions.  I know I’ve made her Ruffle Shirt.  Have you?PICT0013d

I adore this beautiful Sew Stylish Pin Cushion:

She’s also wonderful at making jewelry.  Aren’t these button bracelets cute?

So many wonderful tutorials are on Sachiko’s blog.  But really, you just feel uplifted after visiting.  She’s great.  Here’s Sachiko!_______________________________________________________________________

Hi, I am Sachiko from Tea Rose Home.  I am so excited to share my newest tutorial with you today. I share sewing/craft tutorials and ideas on my blog and a little about my life. I love anything that lets me be creative, but my love is deeply rooted in fabrics, sewing and quilt making.  Also, I host weekly link parties, if you have created something to share come join the party anytime!DSC_0039

When Christie asked me to participate in Purse week, it was actually great timing.  I have been thinking about this idea for quite some time and I just needed a little push to start the project.  So, thank you Christie!  DSC_0024

The purse I created is fairly easy to make.  The trick is (and the most fun part of all) how you will combine the different colors and patterns of flowers on the purse.  I hope you will enjoy my tutorial. :) DSC_0062titled
