Improv Sewing book: Giveaway! {closed}

Things have been slower on the blog these days.  We got back from a week long vacation and it’s always hard to get back into the swing of things, don’t you agree?  Like you are denying reality for a few more days.

I have a fun giveaway today.  When Nicole Blum offered to give me my own copy of Improv Sewing, along with one to giveaway, I emailed her back so quickly to say yes that she replied with, “Wow, you are quick!”  But the book really intrigued me and I wanted to check it out.

101 projects in one book?  Yes, please!  Seriously, the main point of this book is to let people know that hey, you might not be an expert sewist, but just try!  There are so many fun details you can put onto things and this book really is an inspirational guide.  I loved flipping through the 101 projects and found plenty that I would love to try out.

Like I said though, they want to inspire you to use your creativity and just go with it.  Underneath the title it says “a freedom approach to creative techniques.”  And the book delivers in that statement.

Interested to see more?  Click HERE for a video clip on the book.  Nicole Blum and Debra Immergut (the authors) also have a blog.  It’s called Improv Diary.

Want to win your own copy?  Just leave one comment below and make sure I have a way to contact you if it isn’t linked to your profile.  Continental US entries only.  I’ll leave the giveaway open until Friday, 12:00 pm MST (noon).  Good luck!

Improv...something that intimidates me. Maybe this book will motivate me to sew outside of the box. Thanks for the opportunity!

The book is called Improv Sewing. But as I thought of it, another name came to mind. Winging it sewing. I think Improv sounds so much better!

I looked through the pages on Amazon, and I love that it teaches you how to create your own patterns. If I don't win it, I'm going to order it anyway!!
