Purse Week: Day Three

Today I’d like to welcome Sara from Sew Sweetness.  Sara is crazy talented and I’m glad she agreed to be a guest this week!  She has amazing purse-making skills!  I’m happy to welcome her here today.  Here’s Sara!

Today, I'm excited to bring you a simple tote pattern that you can make using quilt batting! I made mine with a laminate fabric, but you can absolutely make it with quilting cotton or decor weight.

Fabric is Tula Pink laminate from ‘The Birds and the Bees’. The pattern is easy level, so if you have never made a bag before, you should be able to make this one! It is also a nice introduction to using a bit of purse hardware in your bags (this one uses metal o-rings).

So cute!  Thank you so much, Sara!  Don’t you love her fabric choices?  Laminated fabric is a great choice for purses!  For the full tutorial, click HERE.
